Schlosspark Belvedere

History
Built by Lukas von Hildebrandt, Dominique Girard and Anton Zinner upon the order of Prince Eugene starting from 1697, it is one of the most important baroque gardens in French style in Europe. Since 1989, the garden measuring 17.3 ha is gradually being restored according to historical models.

History
Founded in 1803 by Erzherzog Johann (Archduke Johann). Transferred to its present place in 1865. Is among the oldest Alpine gardens in Europe.
